楽曲紹介

『Coffee Homeground』は1978年11月12日に発表された2ndアルバム『Lionheart』に収録された楽曲です。

作詞・作曲はKate Bush（当時の彼女は弱冠20歳！）、プロデューサーはAndrew PowellとKate Bushです。

歌詞の着想は、誰かが自分を毒殺しようとしているというパラノイアに侵された運転手のタクシーに乗車した経験から得たものだそうです。

ボーカルは、オーストリア出身のロッテ・レーニャの歌唱に敬意を表したものであると言います。
