今回はオーストラリアのロック・バンドAC/DCの『Jailbreak』の解説・和訳をして参ります。

1976年に発売されたサードアルバム『Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap』にも収録され、シングルカットも行われました。

1976年7月13日にロンドンのウィンブルドン・シアターでパフォーマンスした映像です。

TV番組『Super Pop – Rollin’ Bolan』のために撮影されました。

この曲は1984年に発表された初期のライブ音源を集めたEP『 ’74 Jailbreak 』にも収録されています。

ボン・スコットがヴォーカリストとしてバンドに加入した年からライブにおいて演奏されていたことが確認することが出来ます。

Jailといえば、イギリス悪名高い囚人チャールズ・ブロンソンが最近釈放されたことを耳にしました。トム・ハーディ主演の映画「ブロンソン」では空っぽの目立ちたがり屋として描かれていたように思えますが、本人も同じ性質の人物だとしたら、釈放された後の生活をどのように過ごされるのでしょうか？　意外と平穏に目立たず暮してゆくのでしょうか？
